The Pfizer and Moderna vaccine requires two doses and the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine requires one dose. At this time, there is not an opportunity for residents to choose which of the three approved COVID-19 vaccines they receive. The vaccine that is available on the day of your appointment is the vaccine you will receive. Please remember that the COVID-19 vaccine is in limited supply, available by appointment only and must be distributed within a specific time frame otherwise it goes to waste. Side effects from the vaccine are normal—your body is building protection from the virus. You must continue to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines following your vaccination.Learn More
